It was a joyous experience to Facilitate a live session as an IKS Awareness Certificate Course for School Children & Teachers organised by Centre For Human Sciences, RU. The session titled “Bhāva & Abhinaya:Experiencing Nṛtya with Gīta Nāṭyam”, to inspired the participants to appreciate the legacy of our great Knowledge & profound Culture. "I want to learn Bharatanatyam !" - this yearning call from a student still echoes in our ears.

The Indraprastha Cultural Festival 2026 was a vibrant 3 day event held at the India Habitat Centre (IHC) in New Delhi. Supported by the Government of Delhi and its Tourism Department, the festival offered a platform for intellectual & cultural celebration, bringing together more than 150 eminent speakers & artistes who showcased the rich & beautiful tapestry of Bharatiya civilization and its great cultural heritage. It was like New Delhi as never seen before !

Gita Natyam derives its inspiration from the satsang of Gurus & Mahatmas of Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. As an offering of thankfulness, a small tribute was offered at the inauguration of Parama Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati Bhavanam, Daya Seva Sadan, Cbe. This is a support center founded by scientist turned social worker Shri. R. Soundararajan, to empower tribal women (mentioned in PM's Mann Ki Baat) in skill training, employment opportunities, spiritual growth like chanting of Rama Nama & learning the Bhagavad Gita etc.
The center has coaching classes for tribal children as well!

Their words of appreciation on the experience of SEEING the Bhagavad Gita through Bharatanatyam for the First time was very deep & heart moving. It was she (fondly called YGP Miss) who rewarded me a trophy for dedication to art & a rolling shield for Best Conduct and Best Outgoing Student of Class 12. Gayatri Sundaram Miss, who taught me my first steps in Bharatanatyam at PSBB School, showered me with her beautiful blessings. It was an an honour & blessing to receive the award for Gita Natyam in the category of Lokarangam: Universe of Indic Immersive Arts, under the Adani Global Indology Conclave, organised in partnership with the Indian Knowledge Systems Division, Ministry of Education. What made the moment truly special was to receive from the renowned actor Shri. Nitish Bharadwaj himself, best known for his captivating role as Krishna in the popular Television series, Mahabharat!. A time to show gratitude towards my parents, Natyacharyas, Gurus, Bhagavan & all the well wishers who have supported in the making of Gita Natyam thus far.
There's nowhere else we would have rather been than right here with these wonderful students whose interaction, engagement & participation made the Gita Natyam Interactive workshop memorable & delightful!. The students were highly inspired by the coming together of the aesthetics of Bharatanatyam & the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. It was truly fulfilling to share our work with their team, who have been so warmly supportive and encouraging of the entire project. We are grateful for the good response and valuable feedback we received, and we happily look forward to reconnecting with them soon for more collaboration!
Arsha Vidya Gurukulam marked its 35th anniversary with a powerful Gita Natyam performance of Chapter 2. The hall was crowded, with many revered Swamijis in attendance, who warmly received the presentation. Performing on this special occasion was a true honour and privilege for us. Appreciations from the seers are deeply humbling and confirm that our project resonates with everyone, from spiritual leaders to young children.
It was a truly heartwarming evening at the Rotary Club of Coimbatore West, where we presented a 40-minute Gita Natyam Talk Show for members and their families. The session explored a spiritual and artistic journey designed to unlock happiness and meaning in everyday life. We were delighted to see the widespread appeal of the message, captivating every attendee present. From the little girl to the elderly family member, everyone actively participated and connected with the core wisdom. In October 2025, the audio recording of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 3 was completed to a world-class standard set by Chennai’s top professional musicians. This latest recording was enriched with exciting new orchestrations and musical improvisations, ensuring the Gita Natyam’s journey continues to evolve and deepen.
We recently held a delightful online workshop for young minds aged 12 to 15. The session reflected the enthusiasm of every child, who actively participated and brought their unique energy to the screen. Through a joyful mix of art and conversation, we brought the timeless lessons of the Bhagavad Gita to life. The children eagerly explored the expressive power of Bharatanatyam, and their thoughtful questions and insightful answers humbled us. It was a privilege to observe their joy and curiosity, as their active involvement demonstrated how effortlessly they connected with the spiritual journey. At a faculty training workshop on Hindu Studies, organised by the Hindu Education Board and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, a three-day programme of lectures, demonstrations, and a Gita Natyam workshop was held. The production of Chapter 2 took place over two intense days at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan School Auditorium in R.S. Puram, Coimbatore.

At the Surat Litfest 2023, audiences were transported to the sacred battlefield of Dharmakshetra Kurukshetra. Through a live Natya performance, the air was filled with the sounds of conch shells, creating an immersive experience of the epic’s opening moments. The audience saw Krishna as the calm and divine charioteer, while Arjuna’s confusion was brought to life on stage, making the epic’s central dilemma palpable.

It was a privilege to present Gita Natyam to the young women of PSGR Krishnammal College as part of their Swami Vivekananda Day celebrations. Our talk and demonstration aimed to inspire the girls to think and aim high, guided by the timeless teachings of Vivekananda and the spiritual wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. The session demonstrated that strength and grace can coexist and that every young woman has the inner power to achieve greatness.
At Kikani High School Auditorium, the film production of Chapter 01 took place over two intense days. Surrounded by cameras, lights, and sound, the team dedicated every ounce of energy to bringing the performance to the screen. Each chapter’s production is physically exhausting, yet the creative satisfaction and deep happiness upon completion are unmatched. Chapter 01 is now a wrap—with 17 more to go.
Crafting a costume for a Natya performance is a sacred art, as it visually conveys the character's inner state. For the portrayal of Arjuna in Chapter 1 of the Bhagavad Gita, his attire needed to embody his essence as a Kshatriya warrior in battle, while also reflecting his deep inner turmoil. The costume design was a collaborative effort, guided by the expert advice of our consultant, Sri V.V. Ramani. His valuable insights enabled us to create a look that is both authentic to tradition and true to the character's complex state of confusion on the battlefield.
