Our Natya Performances are unique solo productions that bring the
entire 18-chapter dialogue between Krishna & Arjuna, to life (chapter-wise).
Each chapter is meticulously choreographed that translates the profound philosophy, emotional dilemma, & divine guidance of the Gita into the language of Bharatanatyam. Witness the epic narrative, the subtle nuances of human emotion, & the transcendental teachings, all expressed through a captivating blend of dance, mime, music, and narration.
Gita Natyam performances are crafted to leave a lasting impact on every audience member, creating a truly transformative experience.
Through the art of abhinaya (expressive dance), audiences connect with Arjuna’s deep despair & Krishna’s serene wisdom, feeling the emotional arc of the narrative in a remarkably personal way.
Complex concepts like Karma, Dharma, and the nature of the Self are distilled into powerful visual metaphors. The performance provides a clear and intuitive understanding of the Gita’s teachings, making the philosophy tangible & relatable.
The melodious music, the delightful dance, lilting rhythm, & sublime storytelling create a sacred atmosphere. Audiences leave feeling not only enriched with knowledge but also inspired to reflect on their own lives, purpose, & spiritual path.
For those new to Indian traditional dance – it serves as an inviting introduction to the beauty & depth of Bharatanatyam & its ability to convey complex narratives through mudras & movements.
For connoisseurs – it offers a fresh, innovative perspective on a revered text.
Our production brings to life the essence of the Bhagavad Gita, chapter by chapter. Each chapter is presented as a distinct artistic segment, showcasing the evolution of the dialogue and the deepening wisdom. Each chapter is presented as an individual, stand-alone performance.
